FNSL4R rear race kits provide high capacity braking for dedicated track use on Corvettes and other purpose built vehicles equipped with 1988-1996 C4 Corvette rear suspension. The parking brake is eliminated and the original equipment single piston combination caliper is replaced with a high efficiency, forged aluminum , fixed radial mount narrow Superlite caliper. The forged caliper bodies feature a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. Stainless steel pistons with internal damping springs are used with controlled retraction, high temperature seals for long term durability and consistent performance during extreme duty use.
